Sanchia Kinnear (22) says she works for the best boss in Polokwane.

Sanchia hails from Johannesburg but has found new roots in Polokwane and now says she will never return to her birth place. She is the admin lady in the Sterkloop Home and Garden nursery and is responsible for all administrative functions. When we talked to her, she was the acting manager while the nursery manager was on leave, and she had to deal with orders and phone calls while we were interviewing her. Her calm but strict attitude made the calls short and one could see that she is indeed on top of her game.

Sanchia worked for stationery and computer retailers before but when one asks her why she works at a nursery she gestures with her arm over the nursery and counter-acts with "who would not want to work here?". She says they will have to chase her away, but she won't leave Sterkloop and she mentions that Sterkloop owner, David de Jager is the fairest boss she has ever worked with. "I have never experienced a boss who is this fair towards his employees" and that is one of the main reasons she remains here.

Sanchia does not have a favourite actor or music taste. She enjoys everything.

Her message to the community? "Give us a try. Come and see how we are growing" and she tells of people who buy nothing but just visit to walk through the nursery and then say they had their daily dose of peace.
